Solicitors regulation Authority

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulates more than 100,000 solicitors in England and Wales.

It's purpose is to protect the public by ensuring that solicitors meet high standards, and by acting when risks are identified.

It is the independent regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales.

 

The Law Society

The Law Society represents solicitors in England and Wales. From negotiating with and lobbying the profession's regulators, government and others, to offering training and advice.

 

The Land Registry

Land Registry (officially known under the Land Registration Act 2002 as Her Majesty's Land Registry) is a British Governmental organisation created in 1862. Land Registry is responsible for publicly recording interests in registered land in England and Wales.
